Its been a while, but in preparation for my upcoming trip to New Zealand, my family thought it best to learn how to use the cameras we own, so that rather than taking decent photos of probably one of the world's most beautiful countries, we can take slightly-better-than-decent photos.
So since we are not doing the New Zealand trip half-assed (having been planning it for just under a year, and shelling out for reservations and accomodations since May), we aren't learning photography half-assed either. My mother, father and I registered at the local community college for a full semester, and in my case graded, course on digital photography.
It also came to my attention that I would need an online space to post pictures just in case something something makes me late to class like Secret Service shutting down the immediate vacinity of Maryland Live Casino so the President can play some slots early Saturday morning or my cat is irresistably playful and is begging for attention while I'm trying to leave to go to class. The latter scenario is much more likely than the former, but one never knows. Anyways, back to my point. I will post my assignments and photos here at least the night before so that they're not late. Anyone who knows me or remembers me from school knows my frantic anxiety for grades. This is a preventative measure to save what little sanity I have left. I've also sanitized this site from previous posts to dedicate this space to my photographic endeavors.
I'll see you around!
Samantha
